Lady Tigers finish 2-2 at tournament

Morgan City High School closed its season with a 2-2 mark at Episcopal of Baton Rouge’s tournament Saturday.
The Lady Tigers defeated Denham Springs, 2-0 (25-14, 25-8), fell to Zachary, 2-0 (25-17, 26-24); defeated Runnels, 2-0 (25-14, 25-10); and lost to Episcopal 2-1 (18-25, 25-16, 9-15).
Against Denham Springs, Morgan City had nine aces and five blocks.
Kennedy Hebert had one ace, seven kills, two blocks and seven digs to lead Morgan City.
Other top contributors included Allie Vincent, one ace, two kills, one block, 13 assists and three digs; Abby Reynaud, one ace, one kill, seven assists and five digs; Dwanna LeBeau, three aces, five kills and five digs; Alex Thompson, six kills and two digs; Brandi Albarado, three aces and seven digs; Cecily Feliciano and Katelyn Gautreaux, each seven digs; and Sh’diamond Holly, two kills and two blocks.
Against Zachary, Vincent led Morgan City with three kills, one block, seven assists and four digs.

Against Runnels, Morgan City had eight aces and four blocks.
