Lyons wins 2 events at District 6-3A meet

ERATH _ West St. Mary’s Gerianna Lyons was a double winner Wednesday in the District 6-3A Track and Field Meet here at the Erath High School Track.
Lyons was the winner of both the shot put (38-5) and discus (114-0).
Other top finishers for the Lady Wolfpack were: 4x100 (Rhayla Marks, Naishaylyn Brown, Sequoya Ferguson, Jaazha Scott), first, 51.3; 4x200 (Rhayla Marks, Naishaylyn Brown, Sequoya Ferguson, Jaazha Scott), first, 1:47.62; Naishaylyn Brown, second, 100; 12.8; Naishaylyn Brown, second, 200, 26.17; Rhayla Marks, third, 100, 12.91; Rhayla Marks, third, 200, 27.33; 4x400 (Jaazha Scott, Jakyrin Connor, Kimberleigh Theriot, Brittany Abraham), third, 3:38.74.
West St. Mary’s Kyler Jackson was first in the 110 meter hurdles with a 16.15 reading.
Other top finishers for the West St. Mary Wolfpack included: 4x400 (Wayne Armelin, Kharee Lockley, Mason Robison, Roderick Dominick), first; Kyler Jackson, second, 300 hurdles, 44.05; Mason Robinson, third, 400, 52.71; Roderick Dominick, fourth, 400, 53.0 and D’Ross Prince, fourth, 800, 2:19.0.
The top four in each event will advance to the regionals next week.
