MCHS baseball tourney change

The A&E Basin Bengal Classic, Morgan City High School’s annual baseball tournament, has been adjusted for today due to wet field conditions at Morgan City’s Tiger Diamond.
Instead of today’s two contests being played at Tiger Diamond, they will be played at Berwick’s Panther Diamond.
Franklin will meet Thibodaux in the tournament’s first game at 4:30 p.m., while Berwick and H.L. Bourgeois will play at 7 p.m.
Action is scheduled to continue as planned Friday and Saturday at Tiger Diamond.
Elsewhere, Berwick’s softball contest with Assumption has been moved to Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Berwick. The contest will include varsity and junior varsity play.
On the tennis courts, Berwick’s match with E.D. White, scheduled for earlier this month, has been rescheduled for March 18 at 3 p.m. at Kemper Williams Park.
