MCHS places three on first team

The Morgan City High School baseball team had three first-team All-District 7-4A selections.
Pitcher Rhett Fryou, catcher Philip Hutchinson and utility selection Morrquise Charles led the Tigers’ selections.
Morgan City had four honorable mention selections: pitcher Logan Tingle, outfielder Colby Glatter, first baseman Evan Stadalis and second baseman Malik Phillips.
South Terrebonne’s Logan Soulet was named the district’s Most Valuable Player, while South Terrebonne’s Mike Barba and Vandebilt Catholic’s Gerald Cassard were named the district’s Co-Coaches of the Year.
