Panther Classic begins today

Berwick High School will host its annual Panther Classic, beginning today and ending Saturday at Panther Diamond.
In addition to the host team, Ellender, Morgan City and Chalmette will participate.
Action begins today with one game when Ellender meets Berwick. While the game originally was scheduled for 4:30 p.m., it has been pushed back to 6 p.m.
On Friday, Morgan City will meet Chalmette at 3:30 p.m., Chalmette will face Ellender at 5:30 p.m. and Morgan City will meet Berwick at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Ellender and Morgan City will meet at 10 a.m., followed by Chalmette and Berwick at noon.
The tournament’s championship game will be played at 2 p.m.
