Patterson falls in Class 3A quarterfinals

PATTERSON -- The Patterson High School Lumberjacks fell to Jennings 27-14 in the Class 3A quarterfinals Friday night.
No. 5 Jennings scored all of its points in the second half to rally from a 14-0 halftime deficit.
The loss snapped a 10-game winning streak for No. 4 Patterson (10-3), who began the season 0-2.
Patterson was the last of two Tri-City area teams remaining in the postseason as Central Catholic, an automatic qualifier in Division 4, was eliminated a week ago.
Jennings (10-3) will advance to the Class 3A semifinals where they will play at Livonia next week. Jennings is currently on a nine-game winning streak since starting the season 1-3.
