Let Us Pray

Thursday, on the lawn of City Hall in Morgan City, Mayor Tim Matte spoke in honor of the National Day of Prayer. Ministers of all faiths led people in prayer, while a small group of the community showed their support. The National Day of Prayer observance is held annually on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation and its leadership.
