Parsiola-Thibodeaux exchange vows June 24

Catherine Elizabeth Parsiola and Quinn Gerald Thibodeaux were united in holy matrimony during a 6 p.m. double-ring ceremony June 24 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Morgan City. The Rev. Doug Lasiter officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Charles and Melissa Parsiola of Berwick. The groom is the son of Gerald and Mona Thibodeaux of Berwick.
For the ceremony, the church entrance was draped in white cherry blossoms, English ivy and accents of antique-ivory satin ribbon. Pews were adorned with hand bouquets of Titanic pink, ivory white and Porcelina roses, and misty blue statice. Enhancing both sides of the altar were large arrangements of pink and white roses, peonies, hydrangeas, trailing jasmine and English ivy intertwined with gold candle sticks.
Music was by organist Lee LeBlanc and cellist Joy Keown Bedillion.
Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a ball gown of ivory satin organza embellished with Guipure and Chantilly lace on champagne tulle. Covered buttons flowed down the chapel-length train.
Gracing her head was a fingertip-length veil in ivory. The two-tier blusher veil was of Guipure lace.
She carried an old English garden bouquet of ivory white roses, peonies, heather, sweetheart, Porcelina and pink Titanic roses, and misty blue statice. Stem ties of ivory satin ribbon was complimented with floor-length streamers.
Bridesmaids were Anne Lee Parsiola, Signe Parsiola and Vroni Parsiola, sisters of the bride. They each wore a crepe de chine gown with drop shoulders, a draped neckline and flared skirt.
Their matching bouquets matched the bride’s.
Austin Thibodeaux was best man. Groomsmen were Cade Thibodeaux and Tyler Thibodeaux.
Ushering guests were Andrew Kepper, Michael Parsiola, Grant Patton, Josh Tamburello and John Trevino Jr.
A reception followed at The Atchafalaya at Idlewild Clubhouse near Patterson.
The bride’s cake was a four-tiered amaretto cake with buttercream icing and chocolate ganache and white chocolate cream cheese filling. Flowers adorned each layer.
A cake depicting the Louisiana State University Tigers stadium served as the groom’s cake.
Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at The Petroleum Club of Morgan City.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from LSU and attends Tulane University Law School.
The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from LSU and attends classes at LSU Health Sciences Center.
They honeymooned in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, and reside in New Orleans.
