Richards celebrate 65th anniversary

Onesime and Hazel Richard of Berwick celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Dec. 24, 2013, with a celebration hosted by their children Charlotte Stewart of Berwick, Norma Bower and Joey Richard of Bayou Vista, and Judy Fontenot of Ville Platte. The event was held at the Stewart home. A host of family and friends attended. The anniversary couple also have numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. They were married Jan. 1, 1949.
