Thibodaux-Bartlett exchange vows at Vermilionville

Jenny Renee Thibodaux and Keith Everette Bartlett were united in matrimony during a 6 p.m. double-ring ceremony on March 14 at La Chapelle Des Attakapas at Vermilionville in Lafayette. The Rev. Kevin Phillips officiated.
The bride is the daughter of David and Donna Thibodaux of Patterson. The groom is the son of Beth and Haywood Thibodeaux of Lafayette and Margo and Robert Bartlett of Houston.
For her wedding, the bride was attired in an A-line gown of ivory lace designed with a sweetheart neckline and a bodice of ruched chiffon and rhinestones. The full skirt held lace appliques and flowed to a chapel-length train.
A elbow-length veil completed her look.
She carried a handtied bouquet of ivory roses accented with hypericum berries. Nestled in the bouquet was a rosary belonging to her late grandmother, Edna Bourque.
Jolie Thibodaux May was her sister’s matron of honor. She wore a strapless gown of clover green chiffon and carried a bouquet of cream roses with hypericum berries.
Bridesmaids were Tyra Dupre Newcomb, Amanda Thornton Prima, Jade Thibodaux True, sister of the bride, Michelle Fontenot, Meredith Fitzgerald Bonneval and Chrissy Hebert Smith. They were attired in gowns of clover green chiffon of various styles.
Ava Arceneaux was flower girl, niece of the groom. Ringbearers were Eli Arceneaux and Keagan Arceneaux, nephews of the groom, and Ryan Prima, godchild of the bride.
Bobbie Beard served as best man. Groomsmen were Patrick Bonneval, Seth Bowers, Ricky Daigle, Erica Lit, Jimmy Richard and Justin Lege.
A reception followed at The Performance Center at Vermilionville.
The wedding cake was three octagon tiers in buttercream icing embellished with fleurs-de-lis designs. Topping the confection was a “B” monogram.
The groom’s cake was eight tiers of king cake in various flavors.
Prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Knights of Columbus hall in Lafayette.
The bride is a graduate of Patterson High School and Nicholls State University in Thibodaux. She is a respiratory therapist at Lafayette General Medical Center.
The groom is a graduate of Carencro High School and graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in nursing. He served as a medic in the U.S. Army and is employed at Lafayette General Medical Center.
They honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and reside in Lafayette.
