Bayou Vista Garden Club holds work day

Members of the Bayou Vista Garden Club Civic Development Committee recently installed plants at the Bayou Vista Landmark on Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista and weeded and mulched beds at the Blue Star Memorial Marker, the Bayou Vista Community Center marquee and gazebo. Plants added to the landmark area were red salvia, gold duranta, zinnias, celosia, dusty miller and nandina. Work day helpers were, from left, Jean Chauvin, Donna Richard, Donna Bucci and Janice Verret. Also helping was Jo Ann Ryan.
