J.S. Aucoin Elementary School’s Lion Garden Club recently received gardening instructions and donations from Bayou Vista Garden Club and its Adopt-A-School Chairman Donna Richard. Water-wise gardens don’t have to resemble sterile moonscapes, devoid of anything but layers of rock and gravel.
Native plants are not used as much as they could be in our landscapes.
