Hannibal 2014 royalty to bid farewell

King Hannibal XXXIV Dwight J. Smith and Queen Cleopatra XXXIV Ethel H. Carbins will make a farewell appearance during the Krewe of Hannibal tableau Feb. 7 at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium. The event begins at 8 p.m. with floor seating being invitation only. Balcony viewing is free. Krewe members plan to parade with Dionysus at 2 p.m. Feb. 14 in Bayou Vista, with the Krewe of Amani at 1 p.m. Feb. 16 in Patterson, and in the Siracusa/Greenwood Community parade at 2 p.m. Feb. 17 in Siracusa.
