Patterson Garden Club holds first meeting of season

The Patterson Garden Club held its first meeting for the fall 2016/spring 2017 session on Sept. 19 at the home of Iris Roy.
Members discussed beginning of the year business, the new yearbook, the District 3 meeting and fundraisers. Members also participated in a plant exchange and gave horticulture hints on each plant.
Roy and Daisy LeBlanc were hostesses for the evening. President Juanita Bienvenu was the winner of the half and half drawing.
Patterson Garden Club’s next meeting will be held Oct. 18. New members are welcome.
