Pumpkin Book Character Contest held

The library at M.D. Shannon Elementary School in Morgan City hosted its annual Pumpkin Book Character Contest. Students read their favorite story then decorated their pumpkins to resemble the characters. Students grades pre-kindergarten to fifth participated with each grade level having a winner. Activities were coordinated by librarian Phyllis Glover.
