St. Mary Parish Library performance set

Eric Herman & His Invisible Band will perform Monday and Tuesday as part of the St. Mary Parish Library Summer Reading Program. Herman’s “cool tunes for kids” are at once ingeniously witty, indelibly memorable and incredibly fun, and his videos, led by the viral hit, “The Elephant Song,” have become hugely popular online, with nearly 50 million views on YouTube, said the St. Mary Parish Library news release. Performances are 10 a.m. June 9 at Bayou Vista Branch and 10 a.m. June 10 at Patterson Branch.
