Tickets available for May 4 Famous Chef’s Dinner

The Central Catholic High School Alumni Association’s 25th annual Famous Chef’s Dinner will be held at 6:30 p.m. May 4 at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium.
Chef Brian Blanchard, chef and owner of iMonelli Restaurant, a la carte and River Oaks Catering and Event Center in Lafayette, and Café Jo Jo’s and NicoBella Catering and Event Center in Morgan City, has organized a culinary event featuring six award-winning chefs. Each chef will serve two gold medal dishes to all in attendance.
Tickets are $50 each. Dinner and ticket information is available by calling 985-385-1818 before 5 p.m. and 985-384-3451 after 5 p.m.
Patrons will have the opportunity to meet each chef and taste their gold medal dishes.
The chefs and their entrees are:
—Blanchard: Crispy Soft-Shell Crab with Balsamic and Cane Syrup Drizzle; and Oyster Rockefeller Bisque.
—iMonelli: Seafood Crepes topped with Roasted Pepper Cream Sauce; and Puff Pastry Cup filled with Lump Crabmeat Shardonnay Cream.
—Richard Boudreaux, executive chef a la carte and River Oaks Catering and Event Center: Kibby; and Stuffed Grape Leaves.
—Patrick Poupart, owner/pastry chef Pouparts Bakery: Chocolate Marquis; and Lemon Mousse.
—Gilbert Decourt, executive chef Artisan Creative Catering: Pork Orloff; and Shrimp Provencial.
—Nash Barreca, executive chef Nash’s Restaurant: Crawfish Remoulade; and Chicken Marsalla.
