Absentee voting Oct. 21-28
Registrar of Voters Jolene Holcombe announced that early voting for the Nov. 4 election begins Tuesday, Oct. 21 and continues through Tuesday, Oct. 28.
Hours for early voting are 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m., and will be conducted at the Registrar’s Office on the third floor of the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin and also at the Registrar’s branch office in Morgan City at 301 Third St. Residents may vote early in either office regardless of their address.
The following issues are on the ballot:
—United States Senator.
—United States Representative, 3rd Congressional District
—Judge, 16th Judicial District, Election Section 1, Division G & H.
—Judge, 16th Judicial District, Election Section 2, Division A.
—Justice of the Peace, Wards 2, 5, 7 8 and 10.
—Constable, Wards 4, 5 9 and 10.
—Mayor, Town of Baldwin.
—Alderman, Town of Baldwin (five to be election).
—Chief of Police, Town of Baldwin.
—Mayor, Town of Berwick.
—Councilmen, Town of Berwick (five to be election).
—Mayor, City of Patterson.
—Council members, City of Patterson (five to be elected).
—Chief of Police, City of Patterson.
—St. Mary Parish School Board Member, District 9.
—14 Constitutional Amendments.
—4 Parish Home Rule Charter Amendments Propositions.
