Art, dance finale is Saturday
The Bayou Beaux Art and Dance Summer Arts Program will host its dance recital and student art show Saturday at Broussard-Harris Recreation Center.
The doors will open at 5 p.m. for the public to view the artwork of the students who participated in the art portion of the program. The dance recital will begin promptly at 6 p.m. with the theme “Motown Throwdown” featuring songs from one of America’s greatest record labels. Admission is $5 per person at the door.
All participants in the art portion of the program should bring their art work to City Hall by Thursday, July 1 at 4 p.m. Their work will be displayed at Broussard-Harris Recreation Center.

The Bayou Beaux Arts and Dance Program is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the Acadiana Center for the Arts and by a Community Partnership Grant from the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and Foundation.
