Chamber hires new marketing director

Lisa Nezat Patterson has joined the staff of the St. Mary Chamber of Commerce as marketing director.
She was born in Opelousas and raised in Morgan City. She is the daughter of Gene and Edie Nezat of Morgan City.
Lisa is married to Terry Patterson from New Port, Maine. They have been married for 27 years and have two children, Aaron and Amanda.
Lisa is a graduate of the Morgan City High School class of 1983 and a graduate of University of Northwestern Ohio.
She and her family have lived in Ohio for the past 23 years where she was marketing manager for Primrose Retirement Communities. Lisa and her family recently moved back to Morgan City where for the last two years she worked extensively as marketing manager to promote her past employer, Maison Jardin. During that time she also served as ambassador for the chamber.
Lisa joined the chamber staff in January as marketing director and business office manager.
