CLEVELAND ‘BOONE’ HENRY

Cleveland “Boone” Henry, 74, a resident of Patterson and native of Opelousas, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Lafayette General Medical Center.
Visitation will be observed Saturday, Nov. 14 at the St. Luke Baptist Church, 1709 Harry St. in Patterson, from 9 a.m. until funeral services, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Keith Verrett officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in the Willing Workers Cemetery in Patterson.
Memories of “Boone” as he was known to many, will forever be remembered and cherished in the hearts of his loving wife, Wilda B. Henry of Patterson; one son, Joseph Jackson of Patterson; three daughters, Bernadine Garrett and Dorothy Henry, both of Patterson, and Lisa Knight of Berwick; one brother, Rufus Henry of Baton Rouge; seven grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
