Crouch benefit Sunday

A benefit will be held Nov. 16 for Wayne Crouch, an accident victim when he was young.
The event will be held at the Legion on the Bayou, 1330 Irish Bend Road, In Franklin. Admission is $10, under age 15 enter free.
Crouch was paralyzed in a diving accident at age 18. He has required five surgeries so far and has been unable to keep up with his medical bills. Also, the van he utilizes for transportation if breaking down, making it difficult for him to go to doctor appointments.
There will be live entertainment at the Legion including Waylon Thibodeaux, the 5 O’Clock Shadows and Flashback.
Plate lunches will be available, with to go orders to be picked up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and there will also be shrimp and catfish, chicken and sausage gumbo, pulled pork on a bun, hot dogs, nachos and drinks. Also during the day there will be raffles and a silent auction.
Donations may also be made at Capital One Bank to the Wayne Crouch Donation fund.
