Pamela Mahaffey, left, secretary for Bayou Vista Elementary, accepts a donation from Patterson State Bank presented by Cindy Cart, assistant vice-president. Bayou Vista Elementary will hold its annual school carnival Nov. 15 and will use funds donated by local businesses to purchase a variety of items to be used during the event.
