Patti Ibert, director of the Emergency Aid Center Inc., United Way for Southern Louisiana, says the facility is in desperate need of food and other supplies. The center is located at 106 Commercial St. in downtown Franklin and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
