Father rescued, son missing in Bayou Beouf boating accident

The U.S. Coast Guard says one man is missing after a hunting trip turned deadly, KATC is reporting.
A father and son were boating during a hunting trip Sunday when for unknown reasons the boat became stuck, the Coast Guard reported. The father and son both went into the water. The father was rescued, but the 37-year-old son did not surface, the report stated.
Just after 2 p.m. St. Mary Parish Sheriff's office along with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries were notified of the incident, the report stated.
The identity of the father and son were not known, the report stated.
