Festival photo contest announced

As Labor Day is soon approaching, that only means one thing, the 79th Annual Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival will take place in Morgan City! We’re getting ready for a great festival filled with live music, arts and crafts, a delicious variety of food, children’s activities, carnival rides and games, and traditional events such as the Blessing of the Fleet.
The Cajun Coast Visitors & Convention Bureau is offering a Festival Prize Package to the winner of a photo contest that began Monday and ends on Aug. 27.
The contest is held in conjunction with the 79th Annual Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival in Morgan City.
To enter, post your favorite photos from a past Shrimp & Petroleum Festival to your Instagram or Facebook account using the hashtag #sandpmemories and tag the Cajun Coast Visitors & Convention Bureau, @cajuncoast.
The winner will be selected by whoever gets the most likes on their photo. Photos posted must use the hashtag #sandpmemories and tag Cajun Coast Visitors & Convention Bureau, @cajuncoast in order to be considered for the contest.
The winner will be able to pick up their Festival Prize Package on Aug. 28th.
