Five days of carnival opens this Thursday

“Happy World Carnival” will open Thursday and continue through Monday at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church on Barrow Street.
The show opens at 6:30 p.m. after a 6 p.m. ribbon cutting for its inaugural appearance.
It continues Friday from noon to 11 a.m.; Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday and Monday from noon to 10 p.m.
This is an LMBC Kingdom Builder and World Changer event. Everyone is invited to come enjoy food, fun, games and other activities. Booths are available, contact Barbara Simmons at Franklin City Hall.
Pre-sale tickets are available now. Purchasing tickets early qualifies persons to be placed in the drawing for a flat screen TV give-a-way. This offer applies to first 300 tickets purchased.
