Food drive Tuesday

St. Mary Outreach will host the 28th annual Food For Families Food Net Food Drive on Tuesday, during which non-perishable food items and monetary donations will be collected, according to a news release.
Non-perishable food items or monetary donations will be accepted from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Outreach located at 608 First St. in downtown Morgan City, the release said.
St. Mary Outreach is in need of non-perishable food items, including dry food, canned goods, condiments and canned meats, the release stated.
The organization also needs personal hygiene and household items such as toilet paper, bath soap, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, paper towels, garbage bags, facial tissue, foils, all purpose cleaner, dish soap, floor cleaner, bleach and laundry soap, and baby items, such as diapers, wipes, formula, baby food and cereal, the release said.
