Head Start on reading

The St. Mary Parish School Board’s Title I and Special Education program recently donated “Kids Learn!” activity booklets to the St. Mary Community Action Agency Head Start Program. The books are to be offered to parents of Head Start students who will be attending kindergarten in St. Mary Parish public schools for the 2015-16 school year. The book offers suggestions for home learning activities to help children make an easy transition from the Head Start program to kindergarten classes.
