Hospitality Award nominations requested

MORGAN CITY — Nominations for the 2014 Employee of the Year Award are requested by the Cajun Coast Visitors & Convention Bureau.
The award is open to all front line employees in the hospitality industry who have rendered outstanding hospitality to a guest, his or her employer, the community, or the hospitality industry as a whole, a news release from the bureau said.
The Cajun Coast Visitors & Convention Bureau honors employees of the hospitality industry who illustrate extraordinary service to visitors of our parish with the Hospitality Employee of the Year Award.
The winner will be announced at the St. Mary Chamber of Commerce Banquet on Jan. 29 at Cypress Bayou Casino. The winner will receive a $150 check, jacket, and gift basket worth over $200.
