Irish-Italian Heritage Parade

The inaugural Irish-Italian Heritage Parade, put on by the Krewe of Dionysus, was held Saturday in Morgan City. Participants walked the route or rode in golf carts. Some golf carts were decorated, while the parade included participants wearing green or other clothing fitting the occasion. Parade participants handed out items such as flowers and beads to the public. At least one cabbage was given out along the route. Here, a group rides a bicycle in the event.
