Keep St. Mary Beautiful and its “Leaders Against Litter” state-wide campaign went out April 20 to begin the initiative. Parish President Paul Naquin started the clean-up at 9 a.m. the group finished at 10:25 a.m. John “Booker” Davis, assistant supervisor of the St. Mary Parish Government road department, reported 2,152 pounds of trash was collected along Mustang Trail in the Garden City area.
