Leaders in Philanthropy award nominations due Friday

LAFAYETTE — The deadline to submit nominations for Community Foundation of Acadiana’s fifth-annual 2015 Leaders In Philanthropy Awards is by close of business Friday.
Applications should be completed online at www.cfacadiana.org/2015LIPNominations.
Leaders In Philanthropy Awards are presented annually to outstanding individuals or couples from each of CFA’s eight-parish service area who have made a philanthropic impact in their communities through substantial charitable contributions or by attracting substantial contributions. An award recipient will be chosen from each of the eight parishes if nominations allow.
A Corporate Award will also be presented to a corporation that has made a philanthropic impact through substantial charitable contributions in at least one of the eight parishes of CFA’s primary service area. The Corporate Award winner need not be headquartered in Acadiana.
CFA’s Board of Directors Emeriti will review and select the award recipients for all parishes apart from Iberia and St. Mary Parish. CFA has affiliates in those parishes with a local Board of Directors for each who will review and select their parish’s award recipient. Recipients will be selected by March and presented their awards in November at the fifth-annual Leaders In Philanthropy Awards Luncheon.
The purpose of CFA’s 2015 Leaders In Philanthropy Awards Luncheon is to honor outstanding area philanthropists, increase awareness of the value of philanthropy and to educate the public about CFA and its mission across its eight parish service area. visit www.cfacadiana.org/2015LIPNominations for more information or to submit a nomination.
