Medicaid forum slated
A Medicaid awareness forum is set for Feb. 25 in Franklin.
The forum will be held at the Senior Center on Iberia Street from 6-8 p.m.
Guests include Wesley Cagle, South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority, regarding services offered by that organization.
Karen Scallon, Special Needs and Paterson Support Service of Louisiana will speak on support of families of children and adults with disabilities, systems of care and benefits. She will also answer questions on proposed changes to Medicaid waiver services and more.
Shonna Riggs Radcliff, Crescent City Education Services, will present educational advocacy services available to families for students with and without disabilities in Louisiana.
Joyce Hadley, South Central Human Services Authority in Behavioral Health Service for Children and Adults will also discuss that organization’s services.
