The Franklin Fire Department responded with three units and seven personnel to a school bus and car accident on Weber Street at 4:46 p.m., Monday. Fire personnel evaluated everyone involved and there were no injuries. There were 19 students on the bus and three persons in the vehicle. The car reportedly hit the rear of the bus, which was not damaged, but the vehicle sustained moderate to severe front damage. The car’s driver, Tracy Thomas of Franklin, was cited with failure to yield and no driver’s license.
