Patterson High principal honored

Patterson HIgh School Principal Rachael Sanders has been chosen as a semifinalist for Louisiana Principal of the Year. Sanders was chosen by her peers as the St. Mary Parish Principal of the Year and then became a state semifinalist through a selection process. She was recognized July 11 at the Dream Teachers Gala at the Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge. Sanders is shown here with state Superintendent John White and Dream Teachers Board President Ben Heroman.
