Police Reports 11-19-14

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
A juvenile male, 14, of Jeanerette, was arrested Tuesday at 8:48 a.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting and was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
Darryl Adams, 25, of Napoleonvile, was arrested Tuesday at 11:56 a.m. on a charge of theft. Bond was set at $1,000.
Chad M. Grimball, 33, of 3113 Diane Drive, Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 11:49 a.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of criminal neglect of family, possession of contraband in a jail, possession of marijuana, seatbelt violation, contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and criminal damage to property. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported that officers, with assistance from the Third Ward Court Marshal’s Office, arrested Christopher Willis, 49, of Lafayette, Tuesday at 6:53 p.m. on charges of careless operation, no proof of insurance, no driver’s license, speeding, three counts of stop sign violation and no headlights on. He was held on $1,500.
Also arrested was Edward Thomas, 55, of Irish Bend Road, Franklin, on charges of disturbing the peace intoxicated, open alcohol container and misrepresentation during booking. Bond was set at $1,500.
Two arrests were made after a search warrant was executed by the Franklin Police Department on Samuel Street. with the assistance of the Berwick Police Department, Patterson Police Department, Chitimacha Tribal Police Department, and the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division.
Michael Lumpkin, 25, of Samuel Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 7:11 p.m. on charges of possession of crack cocaine, two counts distribution of marijuana, fourth offense possession of marijuana, illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor and keeping a disorderly place. He was also charged with two warrants on charges of distribution of marijuana. No bond was set.
Darrius Gordon, 27, of Samuel Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 7:11 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine, second offense possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile and keeping a disorderly place. No bond was set.
