Raintree oak trees donation

Raintree Elementary in Baldwin recently received a donation of young live oak trees to be planted in and around the school playground. Bryan (Buck) LeJeune donated the trees and has played an important role in saving the historic oaks along La. 182. Representing local agencies and Raintree Elementary were Juanita Clements, Program Technician, Farm Service Agency; Kayla Hebert, District Conservationist, Natural Resources Conservation Services; Marie Cole, Raintree Elementary Curriculum Coordinator; and Andrea Dumesnil, District Administrative Coordinator for the St. Mary Soil and Water Conservation District.
