School Board to receive bids on Hattie Watts Elementary’s multi-purpose building (pdf of agenda)

The District 2 Maintenance Committee of the St. Mary Parish School Board will receive bids for the multi-purpose building at Hattie Watts Elementary when they meet Thursday.
Following that 4:30 p.m. meeting, the entire school board will meet in regular session to consider adopting a resolution to “amend, alter and redefine the boundaries in Fifth Ward Special School District No. 1.”
Board members also are slated to consider action on a report regarding possible funding sources for continued deployment of LearnPads in elementary schools at the 5 p.m. meeting.
A second change order as well as substantial completion of the Morgan City High School library project are on the agenda as well.
Both meetings will be held at the Central Office Complex in Centerville and are open to the public.
