Boy Scout Troop 242 in Calumet members attended the Istrouma Council Merit Badge Day held at LSU on March 8. More than 500 boys participated in the annual event. All total, the boys attending earned 16 merit badges. Troop members, front row, are Tyler Verdin, Connor Verdin, Joseph Duhon and Justin Chauvin.
