Skate park preview

Dozens of skateboarders and BMX riders got a chance to check out the newly remodeled skate park in Bayou Vista on Monday. The park was open as a preview and will close again while finishing touches are made. It’s due to reopen in about three weeks as part of a $1.6 million St. Mary Recreation District 3 project, which also includes an 18-hole miniature golf course and a clubhouse with space to rent for parties.
