St. Mary Parish Foundation seeks grant applications

The St. Mary Parish Foundation, an affiliate of Community Foundation of Acadiana, is accepting applications for its competitive grant cycle.
Grants are available to schools (public, charter and parochial), 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizations and churches in St. Mary Parish that propose a project benefitting the citizens of the parish.
Grant amounts begin at $1,000 and may be awarded for projects implemented during 2015-16. The foundation will fund selected applications contingent upon funding availability.
The funds for this grant cycle were raised by the St. Mary Parish Foundation’s Board of Directors through a raffle in 2014 for a seven-night trip to Rome and Florence, Italy.
The deadline for applications is March 20.
