Teche paddling trail

Connie Castille, executive director of the TECHE Project, presented plaques to Baldwin Mayor Donna Lanceslin, above, and Franklin Mayor Raymond Harris, below, commemorating the designation of Bayou Teche as a National Paddle Trail. The non-regulatory designation establishes the Teche as a destination for paddlers nationwide and opens promotional opportunities for communities along its banks.
