Temporary water service shut off planned Saturday

Water service is scheduled to be shut off in the area of Glenwood Avenue from Grizzaffi Street to Pecos Street for no longer than three hours Saturday for water line work, according to a city news release.
The City of Morgan City will be performing a water main connection at the corner of Glenwood and Roderick streets in the Wyandotte Subdivision in order to continue the improvements needed to the city’s water system, the release stated.
Work is to begin at 6 a.m. Saturday with the water being temporarily terminated starting at 9:30 a.m., the release stated. Barring any type of emergency, service will be off no longer than a period of three hours. Anyone with questions can contact City Hall at 985-385-1770.
