Amy Vaccarella, a computer literacy teacher at Berwick Junior High, was named the Region 3 Middle School Teacher of the Year by the Louisiana Association of Computer Using Educators. The honor was based on her influence in developing technological competencies that aid students in achievement within core area classrooms as well as her involvement in composing technology curriculum documents for St. Mary.
