Tour du Teche held last weekend

Geri St. Blanc of Charenton, above, arrived at the Franklin finish line during the second leg of Tour du Teche held Saturday. Paddlers raced from St. Martinville to Franklin, the 59-mile trek being the longest in the race. Below, a boat takes off from the Chitimacha checkpoint for Tour du Teche, headed for Irish Bend and eventually to the finish line in Franklin. The final leg of the race, to Berwick, was held Sunday.
