Compromise was the only thing that got its way during the 10-day special legislative session that closed the state’s $304 million mid-year budget deficit, local legislators said.

Duhon By-Pass Road in Amelia will be closed March 1 through March 2 from the intersection of La. 182 East to the intersection of Degravelle Road, a parish government news release said.
