BERWICK — Beginning Nov. 1, a new company will be picking up trash at the homes of Berwick residents.
And residents will save nearly $4 a month on their trash pickup bills.

Nicholls State University administrators and faculty members accept a $13,000 donation Aug. 4 from the Morgan City Oilfield Fishing Rodeo on the university’s Thibodaux campus.
Volunteers gathered Saturday, Aug. 8, to pick up litter in downtown Franklin and along the bayouside.
The Franklin Rotary Club was presented with a plaque in recognition of its 75 years of service by District Gov. Michael G. Hayes, right. Accepting the plaque is club president James Evans IV.
