Man arrested for unauthorized entry into an inhabited residence

Morgan City Police Chief Travis Crouch reported the following arrest:
—Louis Alton Bourque, 26, of Amelia, was arrested at 11:10 p.m. Monday for unauthorized entry into an inhabited dwelling.
Officers were dispatched to an Onstead Street residence regarding a person who had entered a residence without permission. 
When officers arrived, they were advised by the complainant that Bourque had entered her residence through a window without her permission, Crouch said.
Bourque was located inside the residence and advised he was attempting to see his child who resided at the residence. Bourque was taken to the Morgan City Police Department where he remains in jail with no bail yet set. 
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 26 complaints over a 24-hour period and reported the following arrest in east St. Mary Parish:
—Jennifer Hatfield, 37, of the 300 block of Hunting Road in Franklin, was arrested at 8:32 a.m. Monday on a warrant from Patterson police for failure to appear on traffic charges. Deputies responding to a complaint of a disturbance at the above address made contact with Hatfield and subsequently learned she held an active warrant for her arrest. Hatfield was taken to the parish jail and held. No bail is set.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported the following arrest:
—Jennifer Hatfield, 37, of the 300 block of Hunting Road in Franklin, was arrested at 10:46 a.m. at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear, wrong way on a four-lane highway, and no driver’s license. Hatfield is being held on $635 bail.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported no arrests.
