Bulldogs run past Tigers

White Castle’s rushing attack was too much for Morgan City in Friday’s season opener at Tiger Stadium.
The Bulldogs rolled up nearly 400 yards on the ground en route to a 50-28 win.

Tigers to open season with White Castle

The Morgan City Tigers will kick off the Scott Tregle era Friday when they host White Castle in at Tiger Stadium.

The Morgan City Tigers began fall practice Monday under new head coach Scott Tregle. The Tigers will be looking to improve upon a winless 2013 season. Morgan City’s preseason action includes a scrimmage Aug. 22 at Berwick at 6 p.m. The Tigers then will compete in the Morgan City High School Jamboree Aug. 29 against Patterson at 8 p.m. Morgan City will open its season at home Sept. 5 against White Castle at 7 p.m. The photos are from Tuesday’s practice.
